The characteristics of our honey are determined by the diverse flora found in the mountains, typically Mediterranean, which gives it a unique quality. Our beehives are located in a vast, non-agricultural area where the use of pesticides and phytopharmaceuticals is absent, as is pollution of industrial or urban origin.

In terms of forestry, the Serra de Portel is dominated by montado (cork oak woodland), where holm oak and cork oak predominate. It is within this ecosystem that a spontaneous and varied flora develops, typically wild, with Mediterranean characteristics, where rosemary and rockrose predominate, among others, with great nectar and pollen richness, responsible for the characteristics of our products.
