1. Scope
This Policy sets out the delivery times, conditions and costs applicable to orders placed through the online store https://shop.herdadedoestacal.pt, owned by Herdade do Estacal, Lda.
2. Destinations
Herdade do Estacal ships to Mainland Portugal, the Azores and Madeira, mainland Spain, the Spanish islands (Balearic Islands and Canary Islands), and European countries covered by the DHL zones.
Shipments to other international destinations may be arranged upon request and subject to prior approval. For countries or regions not covered by this Policy, the customer should contact Herdade do Estacal to receive a personalised shipping quotation.
3. Carriers and Service Strategy
Shipments are handled by NACEX, DHL and CTT, depending on the destination and weight of the order.
Herdade do Estacal’s logistics strategy is based on selecting the carrier best suited to each destination, giving preference to those whose local presence, network coverage and operational experience ensure a high-quality delivery service.
Services include full order tracking, delivery directly to the recipient, mandatory basic insurance of 10 € per kg (or in accordance with the carrier’s conditions), and conditions suitable for transporting food products.
4. Dispatch of Orders
Orders are dispatched within a maximum of 48 business hours after payment confirmation.
Perishable products are shipped from Monday to Thursday. Shipments on Fridays are only made at the customer’s express request, with the customer assuming the risk of any resulting delay.
5. Shipping Costs – General Information
All prices shown include VAT at the applicable statutory rate.
Shipping costs are calculated automatically at checkout based on the destination, weight and characteristics of the order.
For certain destinations, weights and order values, Herdade do Estacal covers part or all of the transport cost. Eligible discounts and free shipping are applied automatically at checkout in accordance with the conditions set out in this Policy.
The amount shown at checkout corresponds to the applicable shipping cost after the available commercial benefits for the order have been applied.

6.5. Europe — DHL
Shipments to the European countries listed below, excluding Portugal and Spain, are handled by DHL.
The DHL Express Worldwide air service and the DHL Economy Select road service are used whenever available for the destination. The system automatically compares the eligible services and displays the lowest-priced option at checkout after applying the benefits provided for in this Policy.
For orders with a chargeable weight exceeding 30 kg, transport is assessed individually. Herdade do Estacal will contact the customer before dispatch to communicate the proposed transport solution and its cost.
The chargeable weight is whichever is greater: the actual weight or the volumetric weight of the order.

Transit times are calculated from the dispatch date and do not include the preparation period specified in Section 4. These times are estimates, refer to business days and may vary depending on the destination, customs procedures or exceptional circumstances.

Zone 2: Germany, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, the Netherlands, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg and Monaco.
Zone 3: Bulgaria, Croatia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, the Czech Republic, Romania and Sweden.
Zone 4: Liechtenstein, Norway, the United Kingdom, San Marino, Serbia and Switzerland.
Shipping discounts for Europe
Shipping costs are calculated dynamically by DHL based on the destination, chargeable weight and characteristics of the order. The commercial benefits set out in the following table apply only to orders with an eligible product value equal to or greater than 75 €. For values below 75 €, the applicable DHL rate is displayed without an order-value discount.

Shipping benefits are applied automatically and may be combined with other commercial discounts applied to the products. When an order qualifies for free shipping, this benefit only replaces any percentage-based shipping discount that might otherwise apply to the same order.
The amount considered is the value of the eligible products after other commercial discounts have been applied and before shipping costs.
Orders with a chargeable weight exceeding 30 kg: shipping costs are calculated individually. The order will only be dispatched after the customer has received and confirmed the applicable transport cost.
The DHL rate may vary depending on the destination, chargeable weight, dimensions, postcode and any applicable surcharges. The availability of each service depends on the destination and characteristics of the order.
For destinations outside the European Union, shipping costs do not include any customs duties, import taxes, customs-clearance fees or other charges collected at the destination, unless expressly stated otherwise.
7. Tracking
After dispatch, the customer will receive the tracking number and the corresponding tracking link.
8. Receipt of the Order
The customer must ensure that someone is available to receive the order. Any issue must be reported within a maximum of 24 hours and accompanied by photographic evidence.
9. Failed Deliveries
Orders returned due to an incorrect address, the recipient’s absence or failure to collect the shipment may be resent upon payment of the new shipping costs.
10. Damaged or Missing Products
Reported incidents will be assessed in accordance with Portuguese Decree-Law No. 84/2021 and may result in a replacement, refund or voucher.
11. Periods of High Demand
During periods of high demand or adverse weather conditions, delivery times may be longer. Shipments of heat-sensitive products may be temporarily suspended for quality reasons.
