Product Description:
Rosemary Honey with Propolis - Serra de Portel - 270g
The characteristics of our honey are determined by the varied flora found in the hills, which is typically Mediterranean and gives it a unique quality. Our beehives are located in a vast non-agricultural area, free from pesticides and plant protection products, as well as industrial or urban pollution.
In terms of forest cover, Serra de Portel is dominated by montado woodland, where holm oak and cork oak prevail. It is within this ecosystem that a varied, naturally occurring and typically wild Mediterranean flora grows, dominated by rosemary and rockrose, among others. These plants are rich in nectar and pollen and are responsible for the characteristics of our products.
