Bolo Rei, Bolo Rainha e Azevias: novos sabores de tradição

Bolo Rei, Bolo Rainha and Azevias: new tastes of tradition

Christmas has brought new flavors to Herdade do Estacal. Traditional Bolo Rei, Traditional Bolo Rainha, and Traditional Chickpea Azevias have arrived in our online shop. Three treats from Padaria Peninsular in Vidigueira to complete your Christmas Eve meal, enjoy with coffee, or take along to a family gathering.

From Vidigueira to your Christmas table

After the roast suckling pig from Negrais and Bairrada, there’s more to enjoy around the table. This time, the treats come from Padaria Peninsular’s bakery, here in Alentejo. Ring-shaped cakes and chickpea azevias join our selection of flavors associated with Christmas and Epiphany.
