Product Description:
Rosemary Honey - Serra de Portel - 480g
The characteristics of our honey are determined by the varied flora found in the hills, which is typically Mediterranean and gives it a unique quality. Our beehives are located in a vast non-agricultural area, free from the use of pesticides and plant protection products, as well as industrial or urban pollution.
In terms of forestry, Serra de Portel is dominated by montado, where holm oak and cork oak prevail. It is within this ecosystem that a spontaneous and varied flora develops, typically wild and Mediterranean in nature, with rosemary and rockrose predominating, among others, offering a wealth of nectar and pollen that accounts for the characteristics of our products.
