Harvest: A year of great quality, with high precipitation in winter and less extreme temperatures during spring and summer, marked by high fungal pressure caused by elevated humidity and mild temperatures. The cool nights helped achieve balanced grape ripening, with the musts from the more traditional varieties, better adapted to the harsh Alentejo climate, standing out and producing elegant, extraordinarily fresh wines with great varietal expression. The harvest of the Aragonez variety presented here began on 10 September 2024.

Winemaking: 100% destemmed grapes, with automatic grape sorting on arrival at the winery. Cold pre-fermentation maceration, followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Alcoholic fermentation carried out with indigenous yeast (without the addition of yeast), seeking to preserve the authenticity of the variety's expression.

Ageing: In a stainless steel tank for 18 months.

Recommended drinking period: 2025 to 2030

Serving temperature: 16ºC to 18 ºC

Tasting note: Garnet colour, with medium concentration. The very fresh aroma is surprising, revealing an Aragonez with balanced ripeness, at just the right point, where red fruit and mint immediately emerge, along with some eucalyptus and subtle vegetal hints of scrubland and gum rockrose. On the palate, the tannins are present and somewhat austere, revealing a more rustic fruity character, supported by good structure and highly expressive varietal character.
