Product Description:

Vidigueira Escolha dos Sócios Red DOC

Vidigueira Escolha dos Sócios Red was produced from a selection of traditional grape varieties: Alicante Bouschet, Trincadeira and Touriga Nacional.

Garnet-coloured wine, with a nose featuring notes of stewed black fruit, truffles, subtle spice and a hint of vegetal character. Well integrated with vanilla notes from ageing in barrels. Robust on the palate, with prominent tannins that provide a long, persistent finish.

Winemaking - Mixed fermentation, in a lagares with mechanical treading and in small-capacity vats at a controlled temperature of 26º.

This wine is a thank-you to all the members of the winery for their work in preserving the millennia-old heritage of vines and wine in the region.
