Product Description:
Rosemary Honey with Propolis - Serra de Portel - 270g
The characteristics of our Honey are determined by the varied flora found in the typically Mediterranean mountain range, giving it a unique quality. Our hives are located in a vast non-agricultural area, where the use of pesticides and plant protection products is absent, as is pollution from industrial or urban sources.
In forestry terms, Serra de Portel is dominated by the montado ecosystem, where holm oak and cork oak prevail. It is therefore within this ecosystem that a spontaneous and varied flora develops, typically wild and Mediterranean in character, with rosemary and rockrose predominating, among others, offering great nectar and pollen richness that is responsible for the characteristics of our products.
