Each Casa do Porco Preto Reserva ham undergoes a curing process of up to 24 months, resulting in a piece with an intense, cured and lingering aroma.

With a fatty richness and a bright ruby-marbling appearance, a characteristic similar to that of naturally cured black pork leg, this ham has a mildly salty and slightly acidic flavour.
