Harvest: A year of great quality, with high rainfall in winter and less extreme temperatures during spring and summer, marked by high fungal pressure caused by high humidity and mild temperatures. Cool nights helped achieve balanced ripeness in the grapes, with the musts from the more traditional varieties, better adapted to the harsh climate of the Alentejo, standing out and producing elegant, extraordinarily fresh wines with great varietal expression. The harvest of the Syrah variety presented here began on 21 August 2024.

Winemaking: 100% destemmed grapes, with automatic grape sorting upon arrival at the winery. Cold pre-fermentation maceration, followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Alcoholic fermentations carried out with indigenous yeast (without added yeast), seeking to preserve the authenticity of the variety's expression.

Ageing: In stainless steel tanks for 18 months.

Recommended drinking period: 2025 to 2030

Serving temperature: 16ºC to 18 ºC

Tasting note: Deep garnet colour. It displays a very fresh and youthful profile, with notes of black fruit, blackberry and blueberry compote, some eucalyptus and a subtle hint of chocolate. On the palate, it is dense and full-bodied yet balanced, with rounded, noticeable tannins and persistent fruit and texture. Syrah in an expressive, balanced style without New World excesses, resulting in a highly elegant wine.
