Winemaking: Produced from the Alicante Bouschet, Trincadeira and Aragonez grape varieties, planted in the vineyards of the Eugénio de Almeida Foundation. When the grapes reach the ideal stage of ripeness, they are harvested and transported to the winery, where the winemaking process begins with complete destemming and light crushing. The grapes are then fermented separately in stainless steel vats at a temperature of 27ºC, followed by prolonged post-fermentation maceration. Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels and vats and 24 months in the bottle, in the cellars of the Cartuxa Monastery.
