Harvest: A year of great quality, with high precipitation in winter and less extreme temperatures during spring and summer, marked by high fungal pressure caused by elevated humidity and mild temperatures. The cool nights helped achieve balanced ripeness in the grapes, with the musts from the more traditional varieties, better adapted to the harsh Alentejo climate, standing out and producing elegant, extraordinarily fresh wines with great varietal expression. The harvest of the Syrah variety presented here began on August 21, 2024.

Winemaking: 100% destemmed grapes, with automatic grape selection upon arrival at the winery. Cold pre-fermentation maceration, with fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Alcoholic fermentations carried out with indigenous yeast (without adding yeast), seeking to preserve the authenticity of the variety's expression.

Ageing: In stainless steel tanks for 18 months.

Recommended drinking period: 2025 to 2030

Serving temperature: 16ºC to 18 ºC

Tasting note: Deep garnet color. It has a very fresh and youthful profile, with notes of black fruit, blackberry and blueberry compote, some eucalyptus and a subtle hint of chocolate. On the palate it is dense and full-bodied, yet balanced, with rounded, prominent tannins and persistent fruit and texture. Syrah with an expressive, balanced profile without New World excesses, resulting in a very elegant wine.
