Harvest: A year of great quality, with high rainfall in winter and less extreme temperatures during spring and summer, marked by high fungal pressure caused by high humidity and mild temperatures. The cool nights helped achieve balanced ripeness in the grapes, with the musts from the most traditional varieties, better adapted to the harsh climate of the Alentejo, standing out and producing elegant, extraordinarily fresh wines with great varietal expressiveness. The harvest of the Aragonez variety presented here began on 10 September 2024.

Winemaking: 100% destemmed grapes, with automatic grape sorting upon arrival at the winery. Cold pre-fermentation maceration, followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Alcoholic fermentations carried out with indigenous yeast (without added yeast), seeking to preserve the authenticity of the variety's expression.

Ageing: In a stainless steel tank for 18 months.

Recommended drinking period: 2025 to 2030

Serving temperature: 16ºC to 18 ºC

Tasting note: Garnet colour, with medium concentration. The very fresh aroma is surprising, revealing an Aragonez with ripeness without excess, at the right point, immediately showing red fruit and mint, with some eucalyptus and light vegetal suggestions of scrubland and cistus. On the palate, the tannins are present and slightly austere, revealing a more rustic fruity character, supported by good structure and strong varietal expressiveness.
