Linguiça
Linguiça is a sausage made with pork seasoned with pepper produced in the region and various spices, stuffed into thin, natural casings, which are then tied at intervals of 30–40 centimeters. These sausages are separated and take on a circular shape. They are then individually hung in the smokehouse, and when ready, they have a horseshoe shape and a unique smell, color, and flavor.
For those from outside Alentejo, this product is better known as "Chouriço". However, the chouriço, which we also produce, is essentially distinguished by the use of blood in its production, giving it a dark color and a strong flavor.
It can be served raw or roasted and is also widely used in stews. The characteristics of our sausage will give your dish a unique flavor.
After receiving the product at home, remove it from the packaging and store it in a cool, dry place.
